New Driver In Our House

As nerve wracking as it may seem to some, I look forward to my kids driving.
My son, Shawn, just got his driver’s permit. YIPPEE!!!!!!!
We went driving on some seldom used roads to let him get a feel for the van and the road. He did pretty good for the first time.
One rule for our kids, and this has NO exceptions- is that they MUST have their driver’s licence
by the time they graduate from high-school.
Dan and I believe that as parents, it is our responsibility to equip our kids for the adult world- and one thing that means is that they be able to drive.
So now begins another driving adventure…
Please pray fo us…for safety, the ability to remain calm, self-control with our words as we correct and try not to yell too much when going around curves too fast, and that Shawn learns quickly how to not be afraid of the brakes.
Life is a learning experience….
Teaching someone how to drive is …..

Enough said.
